In recent years, with the emergence of ultra-large container ships, port loading efficiency has become a bottleneck and a thrombosis point in the artery of cargo logistics. Difficulties in recruiting workers, rising labor costs, low labor efficiency, and limited operating time have plagued major sea, land, and air transportation hubs around the world. Based on the pain points of the industry, SIASUN has carried out technical research and development. As early as 2017, it reached a cooperation with a world-renowned port group, completed the research and development of port mobile robots in a very short time, and passed strict performance testing and review by the industry's leading customers. Finally, in the project bidding process, SIASUN became the only Chinese company among the three winning companies, pushing China's outdoor heavy-duty mobile robots to officially enter the international advanced level.
The batch delivered products are the new generation of SIASUN port mobile robots, with a rated load of up to 65 tons, positioning accuracy of ±5cm, maximum speed of 7m/s, braking distance <13m, achieving high load and high precision. At the same time, SIASUN port mobile robots support multiple types of cargo requirements, and can carry 2x20-foot containers, 2x20-foot tank containers, 40-foot containers, and 45-foot containers at a time, fully meeting all customer requirements. These "smart giants" will make port cargo transshipment smarter and more efficient!
At the same time, the research and development design of the new generation of port mobile robots pays more attention to product standardization, modularization, economy, maintainability and system integrity, and has been re-optimized and upgraded in terms of product design, body weight, functional unit layout, etc. In order to facilitate the mass design and manufacturing of products, the R&D and design personnel analyzed the structural processability and assembly processability of the whole vehicle, making the layout of the whole vehicle more reasonable, while improving the stability of the whole vehicle, thereby shortening the production cycle of the vehicle.
It is reported that SIASUN is the first domestic supplier of port mobile robots to be purchased in large quantities by overseas customers. The products delivered this time are the first batch of products, and more batches of port mobile robots will be installed and debugged and shipped overseas in the future. In addition, SIASUN's self-developed world's first intelligent container stacker has also been assembled and debugged and will be put into use soon.
